Reflection
“Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” Those who surrounded Jesus would probably have expected an answer such as ‘Abraham, Moses or Elijah’ one of the greats of the faith. Instead Jesus chooses a child, looked down upon in his day. In other words, a total reversal of expectations.
Who is the greatest in your life?
Do you treat all with equal dignity?

Scripture
Matthew 18:1-5 WEB
In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying,
“Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”
Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them and said,
“Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn and become as little children,
you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me.
Conversation: Talk to Jesus in your own words as a friend
Final Prayer: End with a formal prayer such as the Lord’s Prayer/Our Father.
