Day 32

Reflection

What a comforting thought: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
Sometimes it is in a small group of people that we feel God is most directly to be sensed.
Certainly too, of course, God is in our midst when a large group come together for worship.

Do you pray together with others?

Today’s Prayer

Preparation: Begin by stilling; then dedicating the time of prayer to God and asking God that all you think, feel and imagine are for the glory of God.

Gift:  Ask for what you desire.  Suggestion: To know Jesus more clearly, love him more dearly, and follow him more nearly.

Setting: A Scripture reading to ponder – Lectio Divina.

Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”

Conversation: Talk to Jesus in your own words as a friend

Final Prayer: End with a formal prayer such as the Lord’s Prayer/Our Father.

Today’s Music

Laudate Dominum: Taize with the organ of Notre Dame of Paris
