Day 7

Reflection

From that moment on, Jesus begins to preach with a simple but urgent message: “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”
This isn’t just a warning – it’s an invitation. Jesus is calling people to change direction, to see their lives differently, because God is closer than they imagine. The Kingdom isn’t some distant future; it’s breaking into the present.

What might Jesus be asking us to turn away from today, so that we can recognise God already at work among us?

Today’s Prayer

Preparation: Begin by stilling; then dedicating the time of prayer to God and asking God that all you think, feel and imagine are for the glory of God.

Gift:  Ask for what you desire.  Suggestion: To know Jesus more clearly, love him more dearly, and follow him more nearly.

Setting: A Scripture reading to ponder – Lectio Divina.

From that time, Jesus began to preach, and to say, “Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

Conversation: Talk to Jesus in your own words as a friend

Final Prayer: End with a formal prayer such as the Lord’s Prayer/Our Father.
